Saco Bay encompasses our beach community. (See map below) From Ferry Beach in Saco it’s a short walk to Camp Ellis where the Saco River meets the ocean. Camp Ellis is
a "Fishing Village" area now dotted with newly-remodeled homes. It's an active fishing area for commercial lobstermen
& fishermen. You can go over to the dock and watch both fishing vessels and pleasure boats. Whale watching & deep
sea fishing boats leave from the docks in Camp Ellis. There is a marina in Camp Ellis as well as one a couple of miles up
the river. Kayak rentals are nearby for use on the Saco River which goes out to the ocean at Saco Bay.
Both areas
are quaint areas, catering to families, sandy beaches (smaller one at Camp Ellis), unspoiled by high rises. See the "Description
